This is the worst news I've gotten in a long time :( i had plans on trying to get back to ryzom.. but if my chars gonna be gone there is no point. This is probably the saddest gaming news ive gotten in the past 10 years.

So if the wipe goes through, this is a message to all my old friends.

Farewell my friends ill never forget my time on atys it was the most important game in my life and the only one i made real friends on. And i miss all of you.

But i could never bare the grind a second time. So when red is deleted i will never return. Anyone who would like to keep in touch beyond this let me know ill give my email or Facebook.

Hell, if anyone, I would have been happy to see you come back. I've been so lonely lately. I wish you didn't have to postpone your return because of technical problems so many times... But I understand your point. I recently came back and now I'm learning this. I almost dropped my phone while reading the mail. I don't want Sherk to die either...

My mom just called me up and said she got an email saying that if you sub up you wont have your char wiped but still lose all items?

Everything except apartment items. Though there are starter packs which are supposed to make up for it.

So, I do lose everything. That really sucks I have items I'll never be able to replace :( My sword I've had since 2006 is gonna be a hard one to accept, esp since Alegra is long gone, so I can never get her to make me a new one.

*sigh*

Well, I'll probably sub just to preserve Red incase I change my mind. But losing my old armor I wore when I got married, by weapons made by players long gone etc etc, may be a bit too much for me :/

Ryzom is still the only MMORPG I've ever been able to get into. I really wish this game had been advertised better and didn't come to this :(

Same goes for me Red old friend.....i`m still carrying 1 of Monala`s last crafted 2H swords...and to my knowledge still the fastest and deadliest 2Hander on Atys, Monala never managed to crit craft a simmilair 2Hander like this 1, so many memories will be wiped....it`s a a shame.
On the other hand tho...we still got our memories to the long gone friends we once roamed Atys with.
Time to create some new memories now, hope to see you ingame someday bud.

I already resubbed to protect Red from deletion. I'll probably eventually try to play again, but I'll have to wait until my cousin will be able to play with me I think.

Hopefully there will be english speaking hunting groups when I do return >.>

You will lose the guild though.... (you'll have to recreate it)

Hey Red! Yeah I resubbed to make sure my character wasn't completely wiped. I'll miss my items since the people that created them probably won't ever play again, but I still got memories of them!
