Currently I have a paid account, on which reside both Odofitzg (my first main toon) and his son Bitttymacod (my current main toon) and two alts.  The paid account expires in November of this year and I really don't feel like paying for more (at least to start with - if the server appears to be live and thriving, I may do).

1) What the *bleep* is a "starter package"? It has not been defined anywhere in these forums that I have seen.  I have heard rumors that they are only available to paid subs.

2) With or without a "starter package", if I restart Bittty on the paid account, will the system under the new regieme allow me to continue playing him after my subscription runs out?

3) If I win a "starter package" for Bittty and for Odo, and restart Odo from my paid account, will I be able to restart Bittty on a f2p account with his "starter package"? (I'm assuming that the answer is "no", but I'm trying to be complete here.)

4) If I win a "starter package" for Bittty and for Odo, and restart Odo from my paid account, will I be able to restart Bittty on a f2p account at all?

5) If I win a "starter package" for Bittty and for Odo, and restart Odo from my paid account, will I be able to restart Bittty on a f2p account if I delete Bittty from my paid account before the end?

6) Will the Powers That Be define the real parameters of the transfer process rather than making it yet another mystery game?

As far as I see you can see whether or nor having a starter package when choosing p->infos. There will be a note above tjhe name: "This char doesn't have a starter pack on the new server" or "This char will have a starter pack on the new server" (could be winner pack).

What I have troubles with is the following: I have two subbed accs, with Daomei main char on one and Diwu main char on the other. Both received a starter pack which is shown in p->infos. Yet the other chars on the two accs all show "doesn't have" though I understood that once one char on the acc won a starter pack, all chars will be preserved on the new server.

This is yet more important on my third acc. which is f2p, and was originally created for experimental use, but later for support of the mobile traders guild on Leanon. The main char there, Shangfan, is holding a starter pack. This is mainly not important because of gear and money, but because of saving name and appearance.

What interests me: are the other chars on the accs protected, too? Does that extend to the free acc? GM or Dev, kindly comment.

I now have a clear statement regarding the packages are also available for the event.

These are the basic package:

* Name Backup
* Appearance backup
* Axt 1M Q1 (Q25 stats)
* Armor Q1 (stats Q25)
* Amps Q100 (Q100 stats)
* 1 * 999 genetic mats Q100
* 10 000 Dapper

and the winning package (for the winners of the events)

* Name Backup
* Appearance backup
* Axt 1M Q1 (Q50 stats)
* Armor Q1 (stats Q50)
* Amps Q200 (Q200 stats)
* 5 * 999 genetic mats Q200
* 1 000 000 Dapper

All the time the merge is (ie 09/22/2012) paid accounts (thus have an active subscription) will AUTOMATICALLY get the base package. The trial accounts can purchase the basic package by participating in the events. All of course the chance of winning the packets have to get.

I think it is a 1h axe but left it that way since i'm not sure

And weapons looks same what npc give as rewards for quests.

3 Days later yet a Dev still hasnt been bothered to answer the questions... this is whats wrong with ryzom.

According to Ulukyn there will be a new announcement made in a day or two.
