Hey everyone. I've been following Ryzom for quite a while now and although I tried it when it had a trial I never could afford to actually pay a subscription, since I'm a student and I have more important things to sink money on (sadly). I know that Ryzom has been F2P for quite some time now, but only recently I got myself to try it again.
My question is, from my understanding the only restriction F2P have is that they cannot reach maximum level in any skill, what kind of advantage does that give to subscribers, what content will they have acess to that I will have not?
Thanks for reading, and in advance for the answers.

There is one other difference - you can't have as much storage space with a F2P account (No Pack Mektoubs - just the mount and the Apartment inventory can't be accessed either.

So, what's the advantage for P2P players?
Able to visit regions - none, though it's easier in the higher regions for higher levels
Usage of ring (if it'd work) - more items can be used as there are level restrictions on entities.
Attacking Outposts - there is a level restriction (depending on the outpost) for who can initiate the attack (F2P can't initiate an attack on OPs in 200er and 250er regions), but anyone can participate in the battles
Wearing dropped armor by the bandit bosses - definitely as it's Q200 (and the one crafted by players is usually at least Q220)
Crafting HQ armor - you'll get the plans for HQ armor of any kind with level 150
Racial spells - none, they're available at lvl 125

That's everything I could think of right now that's a (partial) advantage or seems to be one on first glimpse.

Subscribed Players can own a Mount (300 bulk), 3 packers (500 bulk each) and an appartment storage (2000 bulk). (F2P only a mount, and appartment without storage).
Also subscribed players can take out things out of the guildhouse storage (10000 bulk) (F2P can only put in).
The lvl limit of F2P makes it impossible to complete any missions from 200 and 250 regions due to minimal skill requirements.
Important skills available only to subscribed players:
High Quality crafting plans as well as some special wepon crafting plans are available at lvl 150.
Prime Roots Extraction and prospection specialization is available at lvl 150 (other lands at lvl 50).

Also a slight disadvantage of F2P is that being lvl 125 allows them to use Q 150 equipment while F2P's can craft only up to Q 130.
