EVENT PROPOSAL: Broadcast Advanced Early Warning System messages on a "Universal" frequency - English

I like the idea of the regional channels being used for the AEWS for Kitin invasions, but it's kind of hard to keep up with given the size of the current playerbase. If the messages were on the Universal channel (or maybe a separate Event channel?), it might be easier to keep track of what's going on.

What do you guys think?

The reason the broadcasts are regional has to do with which towers were completed during the tower building event. Only regions in which the towers have been completed give a regional warning, which then prompts the Kitin Observer in the corresponding capital to broadcast the message as well. Each Kitin Observer can only communicate with the towers in their nation; therefore, a global broadcast could not be made.

Okay. So can we finish the towers and upgrade/enhance the warning system? If so, what needs to be done?

No reason a similar on going event couldn't be created so we could continue building the warning system.

Would give us a chance to positively influence the game world.

I'd certainly help work on it. I was kind of disappointed in the lack of information, and kitins definitely were encountered. If they're digging through the roots and scuttling on the branches above, it seems reasonable to work on getting more advance warning on that. Especially if it's just a matter of unfinished business. The code should still be in place to reopen it relatively painlessly if warranted, right?
