Full Ryzom API and WebIG Framework Open Source - English

Hey everyone,

Some big news came unexpectedly out of the blue today and I thought I'd mention it here as it may interest some players. Winch Gate released the full Ryzom API and the WebIG framework. Until today only the client portion of Ryzom API was available - this is the part that a remote web application would use to pull data from Ryzom API. Now you can set up a full test shard with Ryzom API for your independent testing.

In addition to this the WebIG framework has been released. One of the limitations to writing apps for Ryzom API is that you can't really get them in-game. Now with the WebIG framework open source you could write applications that could be contributed and made available in-game.
