Mutual Mac

Hi there !

I just compiled and packaged a new version of CeB especially for Ryzom.

I'm not an expert about Mac OS X development so it's possible it doesn't run under your system.

I compiled it under Mac OS X 10.7 but tried to target 10.5 so it should work on all Intel 64bits Mac OS X versions from 10.5.

It opens on my system (10.7.3, Macbook Pro) but I get bunch of gibberish when I log into Aripostle. Not sure if that's normal.

EDIT: Logged in, got that all working, but still getting gibberish. Copy/Pasted for your enjoyment. (Note: this happens between connection and usual CEB-y stuff about user colors, etc)

Thanks, I suspect it's not using a fixed space font or the window is too small :(

In fact, the gibberish is the Ryzom logo in ASCII-ART :p

In that case I will try to mess with the fonts and window-size (I already fudged with the encoding) but aside from that, it works great! Thanks for all your hard work. :D

A new version is available.

I fixed the font size and CeB is now working under Mac OS X 10.5 (previous version didn't...).

This time it's a .pkg so just double-click on it.

If you open CeB and it is using a fixed spacing font, and you make the window wide enough the opening lines are an ASCII-ART representation of the Ryzom logo. If you have your window set narrow (<80 char) or are using a proportional font, it looks like garbage. If you try to paste it into the forums all leading spaces are removed and multiple spaces are condensed so you can't see it at all.
