After you kill a mob you have to rush to quarter it or the loot vanishes. heaven forbid you are engaging multiple targets, you will work for nothing. Sometimes you get a good run going, the bodies are piled high, but at the end there is no loot. Can this be fixed?

From your comment, I gather you are still in the beginner area. The corpses of the mobs last significantly longer when you get to the main area. While in the beginning area the pattern of kill loot kill loot kill loot works much better than the more usual grind pattern of kill kill kill kill loot loot loot loot.

The beginning area is a tutorial area, not a grind area, hence the difference.
