To shed some more light on how the new PVP system works, here are some clarifications:
Anyone not part of your team / guild / league will be considered your enemy. If you want this person to become an ally you can simply ask him or her to join your team / guild / league.

Information and solutions about known bugs introduced in this patch are listed below. It may be updated with your feedback:
Retruning to character selection screen displays a white immovable window in the center.
Solution : Ongoing...
PVP tag is ON at login.
Solution : hit someone and then detag will be possible.
NPC Trade "Sell immediately" is gone.
Solution : use shift+ENTER or open webIG (shift+W) one time.
Auras timer
Solution : contact a CSR for a reset.
Free Trial players can't leave Silan
Solution : Ongoing...
Guild names are strange (only MAC/Linux related, fix will be on the next update)
Solution: Join a league and leave
Titles, Tags and occupations doesn't work
Solution : These various elements will be implemented with a new system progressively.

Fixed:
Raw materials spots moved a few meters .
Solution : Should be working now!
Fame mission timer is buggy
Solution : Should be working now!

Daexin -- thanks for the official word. Always good to have someone official say something in the face of a bug-swarm.

The problem with hitting someone to detag is finding someone to hit. If everyone has detagged, then there's no one to hit for you to detag.

I don't think you meant what you said in the first sentence, since it doesn't match what I see in game. I think what you mean is that "If you are tagged, then anyone not part of ...."

It also works if someone not tagged tags up for you to hit. I tried it and it was no problem untagging both :)

It seems to be fixed now!

Mats (in Void at least) seem to have moved back to original spots.

Right a question: the unavailabilies of advanced occopations due to broken campfire creation and flower picking are not on the list. Any information about that?

Also, Jackpot Wheels were broken last I checked. :)

When I left-click a mission and get to the accept/decline window, I can't accept it by pressing enter. I'm pretty sure I used to be able to do it that way before because every time I try to pick up a mission now I get surprised when it doesn't work.

I've never been able to accept via enter, would love that though.

I don't know if it's just me or not, but whenever I log in, I can't get to the character selection screen. It stays on the "Connecting" screen. Anyone else having this problem?

Having problem with The Revealers Part 3, at Frahars Hunters killing 7 Savage Frahars. Have killed over that number but nothing happening, number has not counted down like past missions, has new patch caused this problem?

Eridanus -- has your problem gone away? That behavior is usually caused by the servers not being accessible from your location, so you don't even get the login error message, because the login is accessible.

Yes, it has, thankfully.

I did that part of the quest after the patch, but had no problems. That step was counted as finished after I killed my 10.
