Your description does not make it sound like you dig in PR "without issue." Sounds to me like lots of issues, even now that you know where things are. It also sounds to me like you spent a lot of time not leveling anything while you were doing your leveling.

You've shared your technique with me before, and I've tried it. I die every time -- without getting anything. If the KP don't get me, the Vorax or 'pestas do. As I said earlier to Aeralin, I admire your ability, I just don't seem to be able to replicate the technique. I suspect that means that you have inadvertently left something out, something that seems "only natural" to you, so it isn't part of the "technique". Perhaps someday when I have exhausted other skills that I want to level, I'll try again. In the meantime I miss the beauty of Underspring and Abyss pre-KP.


Erm... I think that's a little unfair, Lili. You didn't kill them while you were solo leveling. Killing them, in fact, only causes them to instantly respawn, so it's counter-productive. I know how to kill them. It involves multiple high level people in a team and It doesn't help. Note that of the seven of us who didn't vote to "keep them as is", none of us voted to abolish them totally.

P.S. -- I would like to point out to folk that you can see who voted for which option just by hovering your mouse over the poll. This seems to be an option, since I haven't seen it in other polls.

I remember hearing that Underspring had 7. That sounded high to me, until I personally observed SC having more than 3. If I were to guess, I'd say 3 for the north and 3 for the south. The KP in US seem to have a slightly bigger range than the other ones. That's a free tip.

LOTS of other people were able to level their PR dig to q250 during the KP times. It's not impossible -- in fact, it's quite easy if you know where to go and aren't stupid. Figure out what they did, and do the same.

Edit: PR isn't like digging in Void. Maybe I have a slightly different definition of "easy" given that I dug my first 250 in Loria, and loved it there. Void is the exception, not the rule.

Where is the option for adding more KP? PR is really to easy of a place and needs some more danger added.

Probably would be best if they beefed them up a bit too...Say 50k hp for each.

I died lots whilst grinding PR and loved every minute - get bored digging anywhere else and I was usually alone - think it took me masses more time - but avoiding aggro is much more exciting down there

You make it sound like you don't believe it's possible to successfully dig PR because of the KP?

It was a simple question, i dig PR with KP. So I know it is "slightly" possible.

i know of at least one other in guild who successfully mastered pr digging in the past 6 months so KP's then are the same as now.

what about getting KP's in all zones +50? (but they should be equal to zone lvl)

I wouldn't mind a KP spawning once in a while on the surface (kind of like the kitin are probing if the homins are still there to fight them) but the regular guard squads of tribes, civilisations and factions patroling/watching the area should prevent a lasting presence of KPs in the normal regions. (ever lured a KP into a tribe camp? Fun to watch if you're lucky enough to survive)
