Expected duration: About 1.5 hours.
Meeting place: Main gate of Fairhaven.

Homins concerned: All but the Marauders.
Synopsis: The tryker botanist Nili O'Toolyn leads homins to discover the plant called Flyner, then offers them to use it for a first flight.

I guess it is RP and because of that, Marauders are not welcomed. If it is OOC, Marauders can join. However seems it is allways this way.

I could do that, but I don't want to. I really, really don't like the fact that, as a marauder, I'm forced to use alts for a lot of things as is. I would prefer to just be able to play my main character. I don't disapprove of others using alts, mind you, but I personally don't want to.

The trouble with RP events like this is that, while they're nice, they effectively lock out a part of the community. And I doubt we'll get a Marauder-only version.

I would understand it better if as Tryker event Fyros and Zoraï were excluded too (apart from embassadors).

Feels artificial to only exclude Marauders, but Zoraï citizens are welcomed. Well, just my view =P

Why? There's peace between the four nations, so there's no reason to include them. Marauders however attack government and their cities regularly, so it is completely logic that a tryker botanist wouldn't want any of them (personally and also because government surely wouldn't like him to give acces to flyners).

PS: However i guess nobody can prevent a marauder from running to a flyner and hanging on to it, if he's fast enough so nobody can stop him... :D

The "flyner flight" event will remain active until june 13th, 10:00 UTC.
You (marauder included) can fly as many flights as you want. It will just be necessary to wait for the respawn of the targettable flyners foundable on some islands of the Lakes of Liberty.

After the first flight, you win a special title.
An item also appears in your special bag. It allows you to come back to the location of the event, but also to get a souvenir for your apartment as soon as the next patch.

I have my reasons for being the faction I am. Also, this is a discussion not related to this thread whatsoever, why did you even bring it up?

Anyway. Glad we can participate in this event, it's amazing! I have always wanted to climb some of these rocks and now I get to to just that, and I can see the beautiful region from high up.

If a faction is left-apart, it's not players fault don't blame them.

The faction is missing someone motivated enough to create and manage roleplay events (directed by players for players, with a help of the EM team)
Like we could see with Kigan before etc

So for all marauder's reading this, feel free to apply and create things :)
Could make the faction alive again.

Because if you wait the official team to make your faction alive.. you still gonna wait.
