As you may know, the following are 12 rites that can be completed; the rest are incomplete rites on which you should waste no time. There are many great guides out there about the rites (i.e.: Ryzomnomnom, Ryzom Forums, etc.) but some needed to be revised including the changes to mission givers, places to find them, etc. I have made this guide for those who want a short route to completing the rites in a most efficient manner. Note that the following are used to simplify the instructions:
Prerequisite missions to complete:
See Xaros Zessen (in the Pyr Forge)Take the two following missions: Weapons for Xaros Zessen, Xaros Zessen needs a weapons crafterCraft: - 2 BQ q45 1h Axes (Cleven Axes) - 1 BQ q45 Pike (Punnel Pike) - 1 BQ q30 1h sword (Blam Sword)Give the crafted items to Xaros Zessen
See Eutis Apocaps (Pyr Intendent at the top floor of the atrium east of Agora in Pyr)Take the missions entitled: The art of forging melee weaponsSee Xaros Zessen (Pyr forge)Craft: 1 BQ q30 1h axe (Cleven Axe)Give the crafted item to Xaros ZessenCraft: 1 BQ q35 2h sword (Stavon Sword)Give the crafted item to Xaros Zessen

Congratulations! You have completed this rite and should now see among your crafting plans, three new plans titled: Long Axe, Pike and Axe right after the racial plans. They are available for any race crafting from now on. Enjoy! If you wish to find details on the background of this change, please read the Homin Crafts / Melee Weapons page of your in-game encyclopedia.

Congratulations! You have completed this rite and should now have a durability bonus applied on all crafted items. The details of this feature can be seen in the The Fyros / Fyros Story 2 page of your in-game Encyclopedia. You should see an icon of a heart with the number 5 and a + on it. Enjoy!

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

“What to do if you find yourself stuck in a crack in the ground underneath a giant boulder you can't move, with no hope of rescue. Consider how lucky you are that life has been good to you so far. Alternatively, if life hasn't been good to you so far, which given your current circumstances seems more likely, consider how lucky you are that it won't be troubling you much longer.”
