I live in the shadows now,

I am curious as what to do once i log in as i haven't played for a long time,
I will require some help to learn how Ryzom works again~i look forward to the great community that makes Ryzom a game i cannot stray from.

Hey Saphron - not sure how long it is since you played but welcome back :-)

There's lots to do - magic, melee, foraging and crafting - it will all come back to you once you get into it. The Gingos and Ragus still bite, digging still kills you with green gas, Javings still disarm you.

Since the Second Great Swarming (OOC: server merge last year) most dig spots have moved (dig spots in Prime Roots were restored to original sites after protests). Also because we are now all on the same server you will find French, German (and many other nationalities) players running around Atys.

You will find lots of help in-game - just ask in Universe chat or Region channel. I will help if I can.

As well as what Arfur said, Faction (race and religion) changes continue. We now have player Marauders, possibly soon to be followed by Rangers and maybe even Trytonists.

The latest story events are about goo infected igaras in Fearing Fen Farm, a possible collection of power hungry homins, and Marauders. The RP forums have more info.
