To take some amazing screenshots, close Ryzom, open your client.cfg and add the following 3 lines:

ScreenShotFullDetail = 1;
ScreenShotWidth = 1920;
ScreenShotHeight = 1080;

You can change the Resolution to whatever your heart desires until the client crashes with out of memory. I have tested it with up to 6000 x 4000, works fine. Taking a screenshot will now hide the interface and create a crystal clear screenshot with all details. Don't forget to set the ingame details and your graphic card to max. Even if the game lags, all you want is the perfect shot to preserve the moment.

Just a hint for the max size:

width*height*32/8 <= GFX-Memory

eg. 1920x1080*32/8 = 8294400 (or 7.91M - 1024 not 1000)

512MB GFX-Mem is not that much today but here's the estimate on a 16:9 screen
512MB -> 134,217,728 Pixels

to get the height/width from that we take the proportion 16 and 9 and multiply it with each other -> 144
then we divide the pixels by that number -> round about 932,068
and take the square root of that -> round about 965

now to get the final max resolution we multiply this number with respectively 16 and 9
width: 15446.983 -> 15446
height: 8688.928 -> 8688

or to make the lines better predictable you should multiply the height/width by a natural number
the max from above is a bit more than 8 times height/width -> 15360x8640

And yes, this is the maximum you should use with a 512MB gfx card

AND one additional important hint:
don't try to make screenshots of magic effects with this method if it's bigger than the screen resolution.
They will be cut off!
A triple width will give acceptable results for centered magic though.

The best screenshots are achieved with a 2560x1440 monitor :-p
