I've read what the wiki had to say about crafting and harvesting. I just want to ask, is it possible to learn all crafts and plans? Or are there things I need to skip? I started with the armor craft, but grabbed a couple other crafts before I ran out of points. Before I go farther up the trees, I want to make sure that I don't have to specialize (even if it takes me 3 years of leveling to get enough points, I just want to make sure enough points are available).

It was the only thing the wiki wasn't clear on. It DID say that in harvesting, it matters what order you get things in, or you won't be able to progress.

Also, I'm still on Silan- so the few points I've "wasted" won't be totally wasted. I'm guessing you can't sell abilities back to regain the points?
I'd also like to say I'm glad to be back. I tried the last time when there was a trial, but Ryzom didn't work with Vista (I had to redownload the game at every login). I'm glad it seems to work fine with Win 7:)

There are plenty of skill points for you to learn all plans when crafting. You can master all 63 skills and still have points left over.

Zarmea -- with respect to harvesting, it's not so much that you won't be able to progress as that you will progress more slowly. It does not seem to be possible to totally nerf your development, but it is possible to slow it down a bit.
