Hey all, yes thats right WhiteKnight is back in town. (I know your all jumping for joy).

I floated the idea of an OP battle across Kara chat today and a few that were on were keen for a good fight. I am looking for a Kara Guild that is interested in Attacking (With my funding all aspects of the fight) as im not inerested in the prize just a good battle.
Also looking for numbers as is a waste of time if people arnt interested.

(If enough Karas / Kamis are keen then I will attack a random OP for the fight myself if no guild takes up the offer)

The battle if it happens will be in approx 1 week, giving people enough time to know about it.

Dont forget this battle is for the sake of a battle and not the prize, come and have fun and break up the grind of daily Ryzom life.

I agree with Crailus, has been too long without an OP battle, would be good to have another one :D but the defending guild shouldn't loose out, If they loose the OP it sould be handed back :D

Give us 1 good reason why guild which cant defend their OP should be its owner?

This thread was supposed to be in relation to the FUN PvP game that was NOT about the rewards. As TPM has recently shown we will be wanting an OP and will continue to attack KAMI's OP's to achieve this.  When this is done it will NOT be done under the prefix of a Friendly battle and will be declared as A HOSTILE ATTACK FOR THE OP prior to the battle trying to generate as much Karavan support as we can get.

I do think things here have been confused between the two unfortunately.  The confusion through lack of communication methods lead to the intended Friendly Battle being officially cancelled and remained un-attacked during the battle phase as the intention of the decalration was obviously not passed on well enough prior to making a decision to declare.

I thank those that have already answered and ask the GM's to close the thread please.

why did you make this thread if you don't want a friendly battle...

and why did you declare 'seriously' on the day a patch was scheduled making it a fun battle with some little chance the patch would be delayed more than 2 days...?

This thread was made when the Friendly Battle was first being organised and was placed here under General for both Kami and Karavan to see declaring a random declaration would be made in a week on a RANDOM OP.  One week later i made the declaration on a karavan guild so as to not be seen as trying to use it to take an OP for ourselves, but unfortunately due to internal conflict in the Karavan the attack and Friendly Battle was called off.

A "Serious" attack was then placed on Artysian Explorers for the same time giving the Kami and the Karavan plenty of time to gather numbers, and was declared a serious attack in the Karavan Forum requesting Karavan backup and expressing our intention to Keep the OP if won. 

As for delaying the patch this is the first i have heard that so cant comment passed the fact i was unaware until you just told me that the patch was scheduled for that day.  The Battle Date and time were taken from the original declaration and transfered to the new declaration on Artysian Explorers.  This was done so that anyone that had made plans to try and be there around the original battle time were not inconvenienced by the turn of events.
