Occasionally when I have a window covering up the Ryzom window and I click in the Ryzom window, Ryzom grabs my mouse and won't let go. That is, it assumes I have one of the mouse buttons held down and refuses to realize otherwise. If I move the mouse, the camera flies around crazily. I end up having to kill all the windows covering Ryzom to get mouse control back. Is there something I can do to avoid this (other than not clicking in Ryzom when another window covers it)?

Mouse is set to hardware in game. I'm running an updated client on Arch Linux, using xfwm4 as my window manager.

If I move the mouse, the camera flies around crazily.

I experienced this too sometimes, on windows.
It helped, clicking both/all mouse buttons, so the button-state got actualised.

I've tried that. After this starts happening, clicks are ignored until I kill whatever window's covering Ryzom.

Try sitting to stop the crazy running. If that doesn't work. At least it will save you looking for a wall to run into to relog.

I'm always in windowed mode and this happens to me usually when i first login. Easy fix for me: Alt+tab and it always works.

Can try that?

Pressing shift+F9 one or two times should fix the problem.

Alt+tab doesn't work in this situation; I've tried it. I'll have to test shift+f9 when this happens again.
