What is the population like with this game?

It's very hard to tell from a player standpoint. The starter island has a large enough population in a small area such that you almost always have another player within 200-400 meters of you. The mainland areas (there are nine mainland "continents" with multiple sub-regions) are immense, sub-regions can easily cover 1-2 km^2. As such, I rarely see another player unless I am in one of the capital cities or, clearly, when I'm with a team. At the same time, it is quite easy to find players to team with and there are numerous guilds which are all quite active. If your concern is whether you will have to play solo or not, don't worry you'll have a large field of homins to help and team with you.

These are only the general forums. There are guild and faction forums you cannot see as a guest. Also, most players spend their time in game rather than in forum.

that's because homins like to keep inside their circle of friends/guilds. but well, we have a decent population on the mailnland, so nobody is alone if he/she doesn't want to be.
