Deles silam, Karan Stevano.
I hope this modest report on the most recent Taliari assembly, which took place on Prima 25 Germinally, 4th Cycle of the year of Jena 2632, will be useful to you, until you grant me the position previously held by ser Nilstilar Thorec.
The Taliari have elected new representatives for the Federated Guilds The Free Soul and The Avatars of Atys. They are serae Tyiah for the former and serae Kiri Selly for the latter.
They are also in mourning for a Drakan named Eeri, who died in a murky affair in the Fiery Desert.
The affair in question would have led to a vain attempt to poison the Fyros emperor, Lykos.
The Assembly voted to issue a warrant for the arrest of one of the suspects in the case, Azazor, formerly Akenakos of Thesos.
The Governor, Serae Mac Kean, has assured me that the Tryker people join us in rejoicing at the birth of Karinae Aniera.
Concerning the Federation's internal affairs, rumors of a future attack on the Federal Outpost have been reported, to mobilize volunteers among the Aeden Aequous population.
Jena aiye, Karan Stevano !

Lordoy Nair-Governor Ailan
Please find here the report of the Rangers meeting which I attended as a representative of the Federation.
As you have probably learned, Y is slightly unwell at the moment and Y often stays at my house. To clear my mind and get some fresh air, I went to the Rangers meeting on the subject of the restructuring of the N'ASA organized at Almati Wood. The subject was interesting and could be the subject of a later note for the Federation archives, although the rangers are bogged down in administrative procedures as we know so well to do.
The most important fact to report is that at the end of the meeting a certain Tepsen Be'Laroy, a scientist by profession and member of The FISHES society, suddenly appeared. I guess that name means something to you. If Y is not mistaken, he is still wanted by the Federation as a witness in the case of the death of Orphie Dradius. You remember, Tepsen's amber cube found in the Kitins' Lair, Orphie Dradius' insistent questions about Tepsen before his unexpected descent, his death, the black stinger, all that... Well, the Rangers, nothing. It’s just if they hadn’t forgotten the very name of their former guide.
Y attach below the references of previous reports on this matter:
(References)
I tried to question and bring Tepsen to you, Eny I was stopped by a laughing crowd who didn't understand the situation. The rangers were as amorphous as a group of anemic Zorais on a meditative drip, that’s telling you.
Some even ask me if they don't have whole boxes of Antekamis chaï delivered directly to their homes, and not the small doses!
Y now understand better the young Ulyron who wanted to go down and have fun in the middle of the Kitins' Lair in an underground party. Ah, they must be having a good laugh the Kitins down there!
You can already see the scene *Eolinius imitating Ana Ryon with a falsetto voice*
- Ana Ryon “Look! my pink Kizoar is bigger than yours! »
- Melga Folgore “Yes, ... but no! My kipee at least spits purple bubbles! »
- Barmie Dingle “Wow! I made larvae and mushroom soup, who wants some? »
Pathetic …
When will Chiang the Strong give drunk Tryker lessons ?
Trust the Rangers and your Yubos will be well guarded.
You see Nair-Governor, I now have a serious doubt...

Eolinius,
ambassador of the Federation
oren pyr celiakos.
Our Tryker friends no longer announce their assemblies in the usual way. So I arrived late to this extraordinary Taliari assembly, but what little I was able to hear was quite interesting. Fortunately, my dear colleague Ulymorus was already there and will no doubt be able to tell you more about what was said.
What I witnessed next was just as astonishing.
The aim was to find a way to free a Tryker citizen (however, a Matis) and member of the Eternal Moon, imprisoned by the kingdom because he claimed to be King of the Matis instead of King of the Matis. Apparently he was in possession of a parchment proving this.
To put pressure on Stevano to release the prisoner, a Tryker citizen (albeit Zoraï), also a member of the Moon, kidnapped the Matis ambassador (Nilstilar, this time, a real Matis!) in broad daylight. The ambassador was simply invited to stay in the lakes, where he enjoyed the mild climate that prevailed last winter.
The Matis Matis ambassador was released at the assembly, and the Trykers decided to organize a party among the Matis to demand the release of the imprisoned Matis Tryker.
Of course, I went to the party, but I didn't want to take part in the demands.
It has to be said that trykers are much more adept at organizing a party than a water route. In less time than it takes to say it, they had transported enough barrels of byrh to water an army, built a bar and even took the time to install decorations. Of course, this was not to the liking of the matis. But I must point out their stoicism, disregarding the noise and disturbance the Trykers were so keen to cause. I can't say whether the technique had any influence on the outcome.
When the Tryker and Taliari ambassadors were invited to appear before the king, I managed to sneak inside the throne room. They didn't notice my presence right away, and although I was undoubtedly seen by a few Matis notables, I managed to remain silent and undetected by the guards. My purpose was, of course, simply to observe.
And here's what I observed:
The Trykers have asked for the release of the imprisoned Tryker (matis), (as well as the repayment of one or more barrels of Byrh, go figure) with several promises from the Tryker federation, notably to guarantee (on honor? I couldn't say) that the homin won't cause problems in the future.
Stevano, in a fit of laziness, accepted. Perhaps he didn't quite understand what it was all about, because of the hideous butterfly wings in his ears.
Should a similar case arise within the Empire, I'm convinced that the sharük will remain strong and put truth, justice, honor and discipline before any punitive action.
The Matis ruler will only have proved to his people that his despotism and ignorance go hand in hand with his lack of firmness. In all likelihood, the Tryker citizen who is released will be the talk of the town again, and it's possible that the Matis ruler's unfounded reactions will lead to war with the Federation. Let's be vigilant.

Your Majesty,
Allow me, first of all, to express my gratitude to You for having, as soon as You were informed of my abduction in the Grove, seized the Federation of Naw Trykoth in the person of its Governor so that I could be returned without delay or condition to my home and duties. For it was this firmness that enabled me to return to my apartment unhindered at the close of the extraordinary Taliari Assembly convened by Ailan Mac Kean at the end of last month.
From the said Assembly You know, for sure (I don't doubt it for a moment: Your yenei promptly brought its minutes to Your attention), that the decision to send me home was not the only one. The Taliari have in fact agreed to rally the inhabitants of the Lakes to come in front of Your Palace on next Follialy the 2nd*, to demand loudly (and with festivities!) the release of Ser Staerano, a citizen of the Lakes unjustly held prisoner in the Forest on suspicion of a plot for which no proof was able to be produced.
As You are also aware (the Hand is watching!) that I opposed at the time the arrest of this homin on the basis of rumors alone, I have come to ask You at last to allow Your Majesty to uphold this claim. In complying with your request, the Taliari have shown a commendable desire for appeasement.
Matis aiye!

PS•((You will no doubt have been informed of the conditions of my six months' detention… I confess they were benign: the Crystabell Sergeants, while they were able to deprive me of both my clothes and my izam, did not succeed in preventing me from joining the open air at will… thus the path to the Jena altar of my choice. So, in fact, it was "on my word" that I was detained…))

Addition to the agenda for the next Taliari meeting
Subject following the disastrous Akenak assembly in Pyr
Lordoy Nair-Governor Ailan
At this assembly in Pyr, we immediately noticed that something was wrong with Ambassador Lorlyn's attitude and that she didn't quite seem to be in her right frame of mind. Despite a few remarks, the assembly had so far passed without incident, until the ambassador took the floor. Nair-Lorlyn appeared disoriented and made incoherent remarks to the officials, not hesitating to declare that the Federation was bankrupt and its citizens were starving, provoking astonishment and then emotion among the assembly participants. With the help of Taliar Nair-Kyriann, we were able to exfiltrate the Ambassador from the assembly before the masquerade turned into a catastrophe for Tor the Federation, avoiding a diplomatic incident but unable to avoid the disgrace of such a situation.
Y don't know what procedure to follow in such a case Eny to my great regret y proposes that the Taliari vote on an extraordinary motion to lift Ambassador Nair-Lorlyn's charges. During this rest, which y I sincerely hope will be temporary, she will be obliged to have her mental health examined by a wise man, as a condition for y hopefully resuming her duties as soon as possible.

]]>You, the peoples of the nations, are nothing but big hypocrites, monsters thirsting for blood and sap, and what's worse is that you pretend to be Good.
It's true that there are plenty of tribes where you get pushed around, but at least the people there don't pretend that everyone deserves a chance, that everyone is free and equal and all that.
It's true that Akilia and her henchmen are violent and terrifying, but they don't pretend to be good guys and defend the widow and the orphan.
Nikuya the Awakened and Naveruss the akenakos, they represent your peoples, they're there to embody wisdom and truth, and how do they apply that? They kidnap and torture people and hide them and make sure no one can save them. And they do it for what? For justice? No, justice doesn't look like that, it's not about beating people up and hurting them in the hope that they'll stop living, and that the world will then look like what they believe. And anyway, they just believe in a world where there are people they can beat up without any consequences, because they've declared them to be "bad guys", and it doesn't matter that they're not really bad guys.
All my childhood, I was told that all homins deserved a dignified life. That everyone had the right to be protected and that justice made sense, that it prevented bad people from doing bad things, and that it made good people feel safe.
But the truth is, it's not true. When you're a member of a nation, you have the right to kill, torture, imprison, enslave and all sorts of other ugly things anyone who isn't from your nation. And if someone says that's not okay, you'll say you have the right, because Ma-duk gave you power over the rest of the world maybe? And if you're a good person and you're just trying to live quietly without bothering anyone, there's nothing to stop bad people like this akenakos and this Awakened One coming to hurt you one day, there's no one to help you.
There's no justice, and Nikuya and Naveruss are just the most visible examples of the hypocrisy of nations, but there are plenty of people like that. And if you think it's wrong, then fight your governments, start a revolution, sue bad homines like that.
I'm glad I'm no longer a citizen of any country, and I'll never be taken in by your filthy lies again. The others aren't so kind, but at least they're teaching me to be a better person. And anyone with a bit of common sense should do the same, throw their leaders into the goo, spit on the symbols of belonging to nations, and become truly free.

The Water Route convoy has crossed the Kingdom without incident..
I must point out in all objectivity that the akenakos Naveruss has kept her commitments to the letter. In particular, she repeatedly put in his place the member of the escort who tried to provoke or insult your subjects..
None of us retaliated, thus honoring our own part of the agreement to respect his authority during the journey. Which was fortunate, because there weren't many of us, and we probably couldn't have prevented any belligerent intent on the part of the escort for very long..
Perhaps this is one of the new forces at work in the Empire, of which Filira Salazar spoke..
I am of course at your service for any further information or details you may require..

As we suspected, Pebre di Ciosi turned out to be an unimportant member of the True Sap.
It seems that he acted out of opportunism.
The kidnapping of Filirae Aylia was not at all premeditated. Although he did not say so directly, we believe that he saw there a chance to harm Lady Chiabre. An old family feud.
And his departure to the Lakes tended to keep him away from your guards as well as from the True Sap, who must not have appreciated this interference in his plans to further his ideas.
The place where he was captured is an old weapons cache built up years ago.
If we listen to him, it was his idea to take advantage of the tensions created by the gift of Ore Altae to start a diplomatic incident by going around the cities shouting jinovist slogans.
In any event, that almost succeeded. But, Jena Aiye, the Trykers have been reasonable.
The information he gave us did not tell us anything. The names he gave us were those of homins we have been watching for years, hoping that they will lead us to higher-ups.
There must be very few members left of the "historical" True Sap, of which Gino di Bottiri was the leader. The dismantling undertaken at that time had been effective. The current movement seems to be made up of nostalgic people more inclined to introspection than action, and young torbaks who are , fiercely ambitious but disorganized, and more inclined to bite each other than to really threaten the security of the Kingdom. If there is a mastermind, we don't know it, and that's who we're looking for.
We now await your orders as to the fate of the individual himself.

Your Excellency,
In the last Taliari assembly, your Excellency publicly declared her intention to send the Crown Karin, on the occasion of his forthcoming nuptials, a present to show the friendship that the people of the Lakes have for the people of the Forest. However, you then expressed, still in public, a concern that did not fail to surprise me in that it showed in contrast a regrettable residual mistrust of the Federation towards the Kingdom: would the Karan not refuse such a wedding gift with disdain?
Your Excellency will be pleased to learn that her concern was unfounded: solicited by me, at your request, His Majesty Stevano has just assured me that the Federation's present to the princely couple will be gratefully received by the entire Matis people and will be displayed in the Great Greenhouse of Yrkanis until its place in the Royal Palace is made available. In addition, as recently posted throughout Atys, all friends and allies of the Kingdom are invited to attend the wedding ceremony and to participate in the festivities that will follow.
That is why I join His Majesty in inviting you to come and present the gift to the newlyweds, in person, at the close of the ceremony in the Temple of Jena.
Seelagan, then, your Excellency!

Salutation Ba'Wity Codgan,

Nair-governor Ailan,
I would like to report an increase in marauder attacks in the Lake district recently. The federal army Bai Trykali escorted Padger O Toogh of The Hawkers' Guild who wanted to go to Avendale to transport a heavy load through the Lochi. Especially since rumours were circulating that this load was the monthly takings of the Wheel of Fortunate Gubani from Fairhaven, which could attract a lot of covetousness. Bai Trykali, having the duty to ensure the safety of the citizens and residents of the federation, accompanied him despite the derogatory remarks of a certain trader of dubious acquaintances who demanded compensation for the journey. Tryka, Meer, Sella should not be part of his vocabulary, Bai Trykali does not compromise with the freedom of movement in the Lochi!
*Eolinius then smiles in a Ma-Dukian way*
Especially, Nair-governor Ailan, that this is not the best way to get currency, much to the regret of this stucco merchant, but I'll tell you more about that later. The escort moved towards Avendale and was then ambushed by marauders on a small island. Against all odds the marauders were repelled by Bai Trykali and the brave defenders who accompanied us. The transport arrived safely in Avendale and Padger O'Toogh had just enough time to park his fully loaded mektoub at the stables. But there were more marauders waiting for us and they trashed the place. Fortunately, in the fight, Padger 'dropped' a few million (a trifle of what she was carrying), which allowed her to get away while the marauders collected the money. The fight then continued to the bar in Avendale, which makes me wonder about the city alert system that was requested.
Coming back to the costs incurred, I draw your attention, Nair-Ailan, to the fact that the fight against marauders is not done with Slavenis flowers, nor with soft Sparàns, that it requires equipment and well-trained recruits. It would be disobliging and above all uncommercial for the attractiveness of the federation to ask for a fee from the people being escorted or protected. It would be much better, but this is only my opinion, to take the Dappers at the source, i.e. to increase the taxes on the implementation of the wheel of the fortune in Fairhaven, in view of the "ASTRONOMIC" value of Padger's load.

Cher Aniro,
Your Majesty,]]>
Let me first of all give praise to Your clemency. A clemency that hardly surprise me: the great Karan that you have never ceased to be in my eyes could not, indeed, not forgive the devoted subject I am for a misdemeanor of little consequence (at least I will endeavor it is so) on the future of the Kingdom.
Allow me, next, to share with you a suspicion which the reading of the missive making no demands at all You made me bring to my home the other day has made even greater. For the anonymous letter which preceded it (and of which I enclose a copy to Your Majesty) did not fail to intrigue me: presenting itself as the report of the debates provoked by the offer of my resignation (which, Your Majesty will agree, could not fail to follow the aforementioned misdemeanor), it in fact implied that Your Majesty would not limit himself to refusing it, but would in addition entrust me with a mission of intelligence! As if the Kingdom did not have a network of spies as discreet as seasoned and was suddenly forced to openly expose its diplomats!
Thus, while I had already been alerted by the mistake made by this "Ghost of Atys" as for the identity of the Serae protagonist of the incident supposedly reported to Your Majesty by Aniro Karin (in fact, it is Filirae Aylia who was taken to task that day in Fairhaven, not Serae Ayala), I now suspect that he is simply working to sow the seeds of dissension between the Nations of Atys. And this for the account of Akilia Ash Storm, because such a zizanie could well, should it last, leave soon in the Nexus Minor the field clear for the Marauders... to Jena displease!

Dear Governor Ailan,
following the disappearance of an imperial alchemist in the Lochi* as indicated in the letter sent to you by Nair-Kyriann, we carried out the investigation to find him in the jungle in the camp of the Black Circle tribe. These abducted him disguised as slavers in order to divert attention, with the aim, according to the information we gathered on the spot, of making more powerful Goo bombs.
The wise Mabreka, who sends you his most distinguished greetings, asks for the assistance of the Tryker nation to take part in an action against installations that his investigators have discovered that can pump Goo deep. It is an action that he believes will be a sign of solidarity between Nations.
While waiting for your response, I am following this case with the greatest perspicacity in order to inform the federation.

It is, of course, and Your Highness will forgive my surprise that the Palace was unable to guess, on the subject of botanical genetics, that the intervention of the Alkiane Order will take place during the Court summoned by Her Majesty Tamiela.

Bohorën of Alkiane
Ambassador of the Karan to the Federation of Naw Trykoth
Your Majesty,]]>
If I come to solicit Your Highness once again in the name of the Alkiane Order, it is at the request of our Herën, Filira Zagabranth Ganancioso. Indeed, our Guide wishes to be heard from both you and (in spite of the incident that opposed them last year during the the Nobles Assembly) your son, Her Highness the Karin Aniro, as soon as possible.
As Filira Zagh did not, however, specify to me whether he wished such a hearing, if held, to be private or not, I will of course leave it to you alone to judge what form it will take. Allow me, however, because the aforementioned Nobles Assembly is now more than five cycles old and because the white kitins have recently appeared again in the Kingdom (near Westgrove Gate, two weeks ago), to express my personal preference for a public hearing… A Nobles Assembly where the developments that have taken place (or not) since the one of the 28th of Floris 2605-3 could also be evoked.
Waiting confidently for your decision,

Your Majesty,]]>
For the second time this week, a cloud of rabid kitins appeared a few days ago from the Depths of Atys not far from the capital city of the Federation to which Your Majesty has granted me the honour of placing me as ambassador. Aware of the duties of this last office, I therefore participated, for the second time (but this time with the precious support of our Herën, Filira Zagabranth Ganancioso) in repelling the invasion threatening the Lakes in a league hastily formed for the purpose, bringing together homins from all the factions and nations.
If I emphasize this last point, this gathering (a welcome one, in my opinion) of all against the of all foe, this is because it seems to me that it is high time that the Kingdom, although for now free of such attacks, officially takes its part in the fight against what could well turn out to be only the precursory signs of a third general swarming of the pallid plague... But it is true that I am only your representative, not your counsel.
Please note, however, that the Alkian Order (as shown by the participation, noted above, of its Guide in the battle the other night) has taken full measure of the threat and is now in favor of the union of all the forces of the Kingdom under the authority of Your Majesty to conjure it... And therefore renounces the persistence in his recent isolation: however justified it may have been at the outcome of the last assembly of your nobles, it now constitutes a danger to the Matis people.
Therefore, and since my office does not give me such privilege, it is on behalf of the Alkian Order that I hereby request Your Majesty to convene in the near future an Assembly of Nobles constituted as Karan Council to examine the international situation, gather testimony and enlighten Your Highness so that She may decide what is to be decided, in which Assembly Filira Zagabranth wishes, of course, to be an active participant.

Nair Gouverneur

Nair Kyriann Ba’Zephy Rie,
The news you are announcing is quite alarming, and it seems obvious that only a Taliari assembly is in a position to decide what action to take in response to this threat.
I therefore call all Taliari to meet in Frogmore Square, the 19h - Quarta, Germinally 4, 1st AC 2601 (*)

I have been touched by Goo. You can read my background story. :) (Sorry, I do not know how to do a link to a forum post. All I can say it is under Roleplay, post #298 "Of Goo and Weapons." Yes, I am an evil Matis with an agenda).]]>NaemaA matis Ranger slandering the Mara. Ironic :PHmmm, a Marauder event on Sunday near Masters of the Goo camp. I bet they have something to do with it! Maybe Akila Ash storm and her cronies are experimenting on goo mobs like that kipesta. Maybe other things too I bet!

Deles silam,
I allow myself this missive ahead of next chamber of Nobles, favouring promptness of intelligence over strictness of etiquette.
First of all the invasion of white kitins seems stopped as inexplicably as it started. It's good news, but as filira Salazar commented what is less good is that those kitins could appear and disapear without traces.
I'm aware that we suspected the recent openning of the path to Silan to be the cause of the invasion. However the facts refute this hypothesis, espacially because the invasion occurs simuntaneously in jungle, and that regarding forest, is was not centered on Confusion Groove. This tall jugula which was eliminated seems the only consequence of the openning to silan.
I have to inform you that the Rangers were remarkably active in the elimination of white kitins. On this side we cannot deny that they are commited to fulfill their mission.
However, the goal of my missive is also to share with you my personnal hypothesis regarding the reason of this invasion. And I think Rangers are really the cause.
Indeed, the invasion started not long after those last had introduce a new rite of passage for their aspirants. This rite occurs somewhere on Oflovak road and certainly has no link with the invasion, BUT, after the rite passed, the fresh ranger is invited to stride across prime roots seeking the pathway that form their transportation web.
My hypotheis, is that Rangers, while crossing massively those tunnels, with the euphoria and clumsiness we could imagine from new rangers discovering those paths, have excited a colonny from the depth, which move up to surface.
I talk about this hypothesis to rangers themselves but their instructor remained very dubious. Of course.
But he admitted that the question should be studied.
Whatever, the invasion has stopped, which I explain by the fact that most of aspirants have now becomed rangers that know all paths and most importantly that know how to use them with more experience and discretion. "The fever has gone" we could say.
We can also wonder why lakes and desert were spared from this invasion. My intuition is that comes form differences in the composition of our undergrounds.
I won't develop here more geological considerations on what is only a hypothesis. I remain at your disposal.
