Hi, I saw on the Steam discussion for Ryzom that people don't botter reading the FAQ and still believe the dev team visits this forum to answer their questions.

How about have someone from dev to go visit this forum from time to time? Not every day, but maybe at least once a week?

You can remove them from your action bar; all stanza are found in B actions tabs.

Left-click on the drag-and-drop stanza in the action bar to put them back.

If you delete them to recover XP points, you'll soon be doing others, and if you're asked to do them in the tutorial, it's to give you the basics for progress.

Well...you go directly to the Ryzom site, you download "RyZtart" (it's called ryztart_installer_x86_64.tgz), you open it in a rep with the archive manager and you install it...
I use Ubuntu Studio and Ubuntu Mate (2 PCs) i didn't have any particular problem and I didn't have anything particular to do.
If you are on Steam and was not subbed i guess you just have to desinstall it first. I cannot help you further, i never played Ryzom on Steam.

As an experiment, I tried running Ryzom as a binary with all other apps turned off on Mac. The perform is much, much better and runs cooler. Thank you for the suggestion.

Hello all
I played up until the server merge and then lost interest. I've just reached the mainland and trying to remember everything I think my character got to about 215ish in a lot of skills before the merge.
With Ryzom it's hard to solo so was looking for a low level/group to join and do some treking else I'll be forever around Fairhaven.
So if anyone wants to start/join a trek, they used to be so much fun, I can at least get a few ports and hopefully meet some new people.

I would guess you talk about a mission by Sterga Hamla on Silan.

If yes, try to craft what the mission says and keep items until you report to Sterga Hamla. Then you can try to sell it.

Not sure if this is the case but generally, to equip an item right click on it in your bag and select Equip. For hands you can also click the area where your weapon(s) in hand(s) are shown and select from its context menu.

Attention, les dons aux NH font monter (très vite) la renommée du personnage mais PAS celle de la guilde.

Pour cela, il n'y a que les missions standards. Le plus rentable c'est de faire les missions des caporaux/sergents/capitaines des villes pour tuer des bandits.

Les gains du chef de guilde et des officiers comptent plus que ceux des membres.

Welcome back Apoli, looks like every few weeks or months a few old/new payers join or rejoin Ryzom. I used to play a long time ago and restored my char recently. What a lovely world it was and still is, especially if you find a good guild. This game has a charm of the past and old school MMORPGs that modern online games have lost long time ago. I am enjoying being back as well.

Hello, I'm also with Mint. No prob. But sometimes that kind of dysfunction appears when
1 server is down; or web connection down or too slow
2 you connect too quickly after an exit of Ryzom.
3 If I remember, sometimes the very first start of the game fails, but it runs after a second launch.

It's a pity that you let such a little thing as a name deter you from exploring the rootball. The CSRs have to uphold the rules and, if you see a name that offends you, report it like Mj said; it works both ways.
