Ad 1) If I understand you well, you gave away a zig3 by accident instead of other zig2 and the transfer was performed even when zig3 did not have empty inventory, however its inventory was emptied on the transfer.
If yes, it sound like a bug, animal inventory suppose to be empty before it is possible to transfer it to someone else.
Ad 2) Not sure what you try to say here. In all cases, ask Thorit what was the reason to ban his other character. I personally see the reason to be valid and I agree with the ban.
