The drawing at the bottom left was probably to indicate that it was a kitin-nest and the kind of twisted star in the middle of the map, the room where the Kizarak is usually located, as well as paths and tunnels not listed by the geographers....
As Mom Kiwa had suggested, the landslides that the explorers had observed during the expedition, revealing hitherto unknown paths, must have been caused by the recent bark quake.
