let's make trekking easier

I would add the following counterpoint: the lack of trekking groups encourages people to first explore the region where they start, finding appropriate mobs to level on, etc.

If you make trekking easier, you will get the effect that's already present at high levels: people flocking to the same spots for the same levels. Grinding 1h-weapons? No brainer, just head out to lakes and murder some stingas! You never need to bother figuring out what mobs are good for 1h fighting in the jungle, or forest...

As for the idea of "corridors": the regions are actually quite safe if you take the time to find openings. There are few actual choke-points, places where you *need* a team, most of the time you just need to figure out an alternate path. Even then, grinding a skill to level 100 and having invul/mpa/speed will let even a beginner finish a world trek alone...
