It makes far more sense to me to have a system that allows players to gain fame and faction points through missions *for* a civilization by doing said missions *from* members of the civilization than by selling products to a company that is totally seperate from the civilization.
I think people should give the Devs a chance to boost the mission payouts. I do not like the the patch was only half implemented, however, at least there are plans to implement the buffs to the missions in the future.
Yes, the half-measure implementation is borderline-offensive, but even worse is the fact that so many in the community are so derogatory towards those who complain about the change. After that and a few years of similar behavior, it's pretty obvious that the server has been split since Merge.
