Once the last poster was on the announcement wall, Plemoros Mitheus took his bag and the tools and walked down the street. The first beams of the morning light danced around him while the dust crunched under his footsteps. Once out of the city, he took his mektoub from the stable and paid the stable boy without a word. No time for that. He checked the list. And mumbling he said:
- Zora... this is not going to be an easy trip. It took me several days to get here and the Committee started the Games a few days ago... I won´t get the payment they promised me... I should make it easier this time, I will be late again if not.
He made the mount head south and he started to whistle.
From 6th August to 22nd August:
* Atys Games period started the Saturday 6th August.
* The Atys Games Committee opened the first game on Silan on Monday, 8th August. The homins that live in this region can enjoy helping the Ba'Yubi brothers with some pesky yubos.
* Few days after Atys will celebrate an Opening Ceremony bringing the Atys Games to the Main Land. Come next to Blackburn Trading Post, in the Imperial Dunes, on Friday, 12th August, 19:00 UTC to celebrate with us. Be careful with the beer!
* Just after the Opening Ceremony on Friday, 12th August, the first game will be opened for all the homins: a Mektoub Race around Haven of Purity starting from Zora entrance!
* For those that want to show their skills running around a part of Atys, Sunday, 14th August is the perfect day! Come and sweat like a mek participating to the Marathon between Pyr and Yrkanis!
*If running around is easy for you and you need a bigger challenge, we have a Triathlon around Lakes of Liberty ready to take out the best of you. Come to Windermeer Farm starting from Tuesday, 16th August! But careful, don't drown while you swim!
* But for those that like to work on a team, we have team games too! We will be glad to bring you:
- Yubo ball! How much yubos will you score? The game will take place Friday, 19th August, 19:00 UTC at Sirgio's Camp at Hidden Source.
- Light the fire! Will you light the campfire more times than the other team? Come to Matis Arena on Sunday, 21st August, 19:00 UTC to participate
* After all the fun we will close the Atys Games on a great Celebration on Wednesday, 24th August, 19:00 UTC on Silan and 20:00 UTC on the Main Land, close to the Blackburn Trading Post.
