Running Ryzom on a small configuration

Guyouthefirst (atys)
Icus (atys)
Check the cfg/ folder in your ryzom installation, you have the preset value in it. Take the one in client_cpu_1.cfg, client_gpu_1.cfg, client_ram_256.cfg, client_vram_32.cfg

Thanks for the tips. I used the lowest settings (I think):
cat cfg/client_vram_32.cfg cfg/client_gpu_1.cfg >> client.cfg

But this does not work. More precisely:

* the login screen works perfectly
* the avatar selector works, but really slowly and with CPU at 100%: it requires 1 or 2 seconds for each refresh (for example when some part of the screen are displayed after being hidden, or between each step of the fading/shading effect)
* the in-game screen keep desperately black with CPU 100%.

How can I fix this or understand what goes wrong?
Can you paste your client.cfg ? (use pastebin.com) I'm not sure how does ryzom behave if you define multiple times the same variable (for example if ZFar is already defined at 500, i think if you cat >> client_gpu_1.cfg it will take the 500 value and not the "new" 200.

Also, what is your GPU (and which driver do you use?) / CPU / available ram ?

EDIT : do you play the game in fullscreen mode ? it's often an issue on linux, causing black screen ingame
