our captors have allowed us to again contact our friends outside of this place we're being held.
in all honesty this place we're being held is very strange. we're surrounded by aggressive homins that seam to want nothing more then to create upheaval and turmoil. we're in fear for our safe release, we're told nothing about if anyone has offered to or has already paid the ransom, and while our captors seam to be the more level-headed, it doesn't ensure that we will leave this place alive. we await freedom and rescue, and are hopeful that a peaceful solution will grant that freedom.
our captors have made it clear that they do not care where their ransom dappers come from, only that it's paid in full, upon payment they will return our belongings and we'll be set free of our magical bonds.

for those that want to do some PvP based on RP can do so in an effort to rescue myself and rosina from the mara camp. we're held in the area of the camp that was designed to be used as a "holding area" for non mara players which are kidnapped and held for ransom; please keep in mind this is a roleplay feature, and should only be used as such.
it's a well known fact that i myself do not partake in tagged pvp, however there's been talk by friends that do like pvp that there are not enough pvp events, as a result myself and a few other cookies have thought up options to create player based events that will offer more pvp based events. if i commit to a roleplay event like this i will play it out to the fullest, that being said, a week of being held hostage will mean that for one week real life time myself and ros will be held hostage, thus our gameplay will be limited to sitting in one spot as a hostage should.
like any event the cookies host there are rewards for those that take part, these rewards may be dappers, sap crystals, or even gear. in this case the reward for payment of the 50m dapper ransom will be 2 stacks of sap crystals, the reward for pvp players that risk death to attempt to rescue myself and ros will be the pvp points they can gain from tagged pvp. it would be hard to offer rewards for the pvp that would be fair because some players may do pvp for 5 minutes, while others may try over and over for hours.
