I want to inform about a small expedition made by me and my sister Diwu in the area of the grove of Confusion . The aim was to inquire into the possibilities and problems reaching the spot of dry bark in this area and the foraging conditions, in order to facilitate foraging these materials necessary for the construction of the kitin observation camps.

The expedition was done Holeth , Germinally 12, 2nd AC 2576 , and lasted a day ca. Our equipment was as follows :

1 . Daomei
Light armor Q250 ( excellent dodge 2) bonus focus - armor worn -
Tryker jewelry Q250 ( excellent prot poison , cold, acid) , bonus focus
Q250 excellent amps , HP bonus , Zun style 83%
Pick Q250 ( normal market)
2 . Diwu
Light armor Q250 ( excellent dodge 2) HP bonus - armor scope -
Fyros jewelry Q250 ( excellent prot poison , cold, acid ), HP bonus
Q250 excellent amps , HP bonus , Zun style 83%
Pick Q250 ( normal market)
Matis heavy armor Q250 ( excellent parry 1 ) bonus HP - reserve armor -
Generic 2h sword Q250 ( excellent max damage , Speed 26) - reserve weapon -

We traversed the maze in a fast and violent march , killing all the aggressive creatures in front of us without exception . We arrived at the first destination of the expedition after 3 hours of Atys ( ooc : 10min ) ca. without major complications. This destination was the free space covered by devastating Slavenis in the northeastern part of which the spot with the mats is located. It is right to the east of Highgrove Research Center outpost, which can be reached without encountering aggressive creatures .

From here, we started a reconnaissance of the surroundings, especially the north of this area where two ponds can be found before the entry to Highgrove. In summary, the agro situation en route to and in the vicinity of the spot is as follows:

1 . On the way to the spot
( I do not comment the way to Ginti OP, I think it is well known)
From Ginti Workshop, we had to turn bit north , then east, following the path which bent north after several hundred meters. The aggressive creatures were always the same :
Cuttler lvl . 221-241
Ocyx lvl . 223 and 232
Jugula lvl . 235 and 245
I want to emphasize that none of these creature poses a threat to mounts. With packers it is also possible to cross if one stays in fast motion and the mektoubs are not attacked themselves. Crossing this region in a team of two is not without risk but possible.
2 . To the west of the open space the way to the outpost is free, and long enough to flee and get rid of agros if necessary. North of it, and sometimes approaching the forage spot, there are 4 cuttlers , 2 great level 251 and 2 horrific level 241. It is recommendable to reduce this spawn to a single cuttler and keeping an eye on him. In addition, a patrol of at least 12 great kipestas level 248 are patrolling the area north of the spot. Their turning point is on the open space, but there are seldom more than 1-3 at the same time , normally one may wait until they are gone or just kill them.
Exploring the region to the north, we attacked the kipestas , but did not manage to kill them all. We had to escape into the ponds (located behind the cuttlers), having to kill the cuttlers to return to the spot .

As a result:
- It is possible to arrive at the spot in a not too great team , elementary mage, healer , melee , that's comfortable , ele / healer alone works qed
- One may cross with mektoubs without major risk, no gingo etc. . en route to the spot . North of it, in the Highgrove, there are kinchers .
- The spot is not without agro, but feasible . One may escape to the outpost in case of problems , or kill the problems
