Slow startup of application

I have experienced this as well, with no apparent explanation. In fact, it was a similar event that lead to me reinstalling the client at one point. (It would be completely inactive between the authorization and the splash screen, but once the splashscreen loaded, it simply did not load Ryzom at all - no matter how long I left it alone.)
