A few questions along with a few words of praise

Just to get the questions out there, quick and simple;

1) I decided to read through the Manual today, after getting to lvl 30-40 in all of my skills. One of the things that confused me was the death/respawn system that is described in the manual. I am curious if the death/respawn system works differently for Silan/ML because I am still in Silan, and have never experienced a 'decrease in stats for a short period' or been 'unconcious' and able to be revived by a simple healing spell... Maybe I'm just unaware of it if this is the case, but it seems completely different for me right now, lol - Some clarification would be greatly appreciated.

2) I've read about The Ring system, and what it involves... I've got to say that it sounds like the most amazing feature that I've ever heard of in an MMORPG... and I've played my fair share of MMO's, lol. My question is simply if there is any idea when it may become usable again. I'm seriously on the edge of my seat waiting to use/see this feature in use.

3) Just for my own knowledge, is there any way to reset one's skill points? I am the type of person that takes my time, and places a lot of thought into where I spend points... so I'm just wondering if it is possible to reset them later down the line... if so, then I can stop being so careful, and maybe a little more careless with what I put my points into, :P

Aside from those questions, I think I'm good - I just really do have to say how much I LOVE this game... coming from the more main stream MMO's and a few of the indie/f2p ones, I have to admit that Ryzom takes the cake in all aspects. Its got original gameplay, original store/world/environment, original battle/item/equipment/forage/craft/spell/skill systems that are so creative, complex and notably amazing to use that it has been completely mind-blowing that it's taken me this long to find such a wonderful game.

All of this, and it seriously has an amazing community to boot.

Easy way for my to compare Ryzom to main-stream MMO's is that it is as if someone made the PERFECT merger of EverQuest (for the type of game), EVE (for the complexity of gathering/crafting items), Phantasy Star Online (for the semi-sci-fi feel), and added a dash of Lineage (for the freedom of faction/fame/choice).

Ok... I've said my piece... it had to be said somewhere, lol.
