Hi guys, I've been playing Ryzom for a couple of weeks..
Really enjoyed the first (training) planet, but once I completed most of the quests I opted to leave for the mainland.
I admit that it was my own fault for choosing to be a crafter.. but I've discovered that all the missions on the new planet seem to be nothing but crafting. Nothing else.
It wouldn't be so bad but I'm really rubbish at crafting! (I had a go at the first mission to make 5 pairs of level 10 boots.. all I managed to produce were level 7-9 ones, despite using lots of the highest quality materials I could afford).
So now I'm kinda stuck on a planet where I'm not sure what to do.. I'm up to about 850 HP so don't really want to start again completely from scratch, but at the moment I'm just wandering about aimlessly like a lost puppy.
Has anyone else made this mistake? If so what did you do?
I should probably point out for anyone thinking of playing and being put off.. don't be, it's a truly great game.
Just do a bit more research than I did before choosing a class and then leaving the training planet without realising there's no way back :D
Cheers,
Libs
