I atually run from 2 installs (the original copyed to a second location).
This has worked nice as i can copy it back when 1 install playes up as happens from time to time. Just back up your save file to copy back so you keep macros etc.
Also make sure ryzom is using all your cpu cores. even better set the clients differant cores.
To check cores bring up windows task manager, select processes, right click on client_ryzom_rd.exe*32 and click set affinity.
