A sum of my previously attempted post:
The Windows client finds checksum errors again, as expected. Anyone know of a way to turn off the Windows client doing checksums? It's obviously not on for the Linux client except during updating.
It'd be nice (though understandably probably not a high priority) for all the data directories to be the same, with separate downloads for the data directory and the rest of the client for each of the supported OS's.
Edit: It looks like the Windows client does some updates without asking. Next time I try to log into the Linux client, I get errors with the same files again.
