GX RP Policy
-Guild Characters will abide the lore of the Guild and Ryzom. We ask that characters also have lore appropriate names.
-Communication in the guild is to be conducted in character in all chats. All OOC communication is to be marked with double parentheses (()) or equivalent markers.
-Universal channel is NOT and NEVER used for roleplaying.
-Maintain a positive atmosphere for roleplaying. Harassment of other players is never tolerated.
-Though it is not mandatory, we encourage the use of the guild’s background story for the creation of your character(s) upbringing. The idea for the guild’s story is so that we can recruit people with similar backgrounds in an effort to keep members feeling related to each other.
-In Character Actions equals In Character Consequences.
-Type in proper English and refrain from using internet jargon and acronyms “lol” or “OMG” while you roleplay.
-Full Immersion Roleplaying (or even anything close) is not required by, nor expected of, the members of Generation X. This means you ARE allowed to go OOC. When you are teaming with friends and allies, talking in OOC channels, or even chatting it up using OOC markers in an IC channel, you are free to just be yourself: the player. Remember that we are looking to help maintain the world experience. We are not looking to completely transition ourselves into this imaginary world. Always remember that this is a game more than a virtual world.
Is GX the guild for you?
To be a member of Generation X you don’t need to be hardcore roleplayer, even the most inexperienced roleplayers can join GX, what we seek is to help maintain the roleplay environment. However, you must ask yourself if you are ready for the raw grind of a new RP guild, which means the journey is more important than the run to reach end game. While our focus is to advance in skills, it is not our outmost priority, and therefore we take a much slower rout toward endgame. The guild welcomes players deeply interested in Atysian Lore and in learning all about the various aspects of Ryzom and how to be better foragers, crafters, warriors, and homins.
