The order of dynamic channels (of which the event, cult and civ channels are part) is, at the moment, not guaranteed to stay the same between logins.
That may be but in practice, it is extremely reliable and it makes sense that it is that way.
If you have only one alignment, Kami/Karavan OR civ, then that alignment takes /0. If you have both Kami/Karavan and civ, Kami/Kara takes /0 and civ takes /1. My guess is that the program checks Kami/Kara alignment first which creates that channel first, /0, and then checks civ alignment giving that channel /1.
If the program is checking alignments in the same order every time, then the channels will, by design or not, appear in the same order every time.
