So Amnesia points out that some people have a reason not to like the Karavan, when all of those points are about people who are KAMI now. Please disregard anything you hear about one side being more friendly/helpful/better than the other. There are awesome people on both sides and in the end it's not important. While I do believe the lakes are a good place to start, eventually you will join hunt teams in other regions and will need those TPs to get there, so it's a good idea to trek around.
