Good Jena, can't we even tell newbies which capitals are easiest anymore without turning it into faction propaganda? :/
And couldn't they have picked something more believable than "Karavan often say their territories are easy to start off in", that's ridiculous, anyone claiming Matis is easy to start off in would be laughed away! That place is insane!
Consensus has always been that Matis and Fyros capitals are hard, Tryker is easy because of all the water you can hide in, and Zora is easy because there's hardly any aggro, and both those things that make Tryker&Zora easy can be downsides too.
What they really should've told you however, is that going to a capital other than your race's makes it hard to continue crafting.
The journey to other capitals can be made on foot assuming you're okay with spending several days on each trek, dieing hundreds of time and slowly learning how to sneak through. If you enjoy such a learning process, go for it, if it only frustrates you, probably better not. :)
