In response to questions in Uni today, this is the latest data I have on crafting ranges. Taken from forum posts over the years, some items might be outdated:
Heavy armor:
Protection range is 40% to 60%
Max vs is 1.32*Q to 2.64*Q (330 to 660 for Q250)
Base of 0 parry, 50% needed for +1 parry, 75% needed for +2 parry, 100% needed for +3 parry
Base of -3 dodge, 25% needed for -2 dodge, 50% needed for -1 dodge, 75% needed for 0 dodge
Medium armor:
Protecton range is 20% to 40%
Max vs is 0.888*Q to 1.776*Q (222 to 444 for Q250)
Base of 0 parry, 67% needed for +1 parry, 100% needed for +2 parry
Base of -1 dodge, 100% needed for +1 dodge
Light armor:
Protection range is 5% to 25%
Max vs is 0.56*Q to 1.12*Q (140 to 280 for Q250)
Base of 0 parry, 100% needed for +1 parry
Base of +1 dodge, 100% needed for +2 dodge
