The only problem with that Beeficus is that which Meagon mentioned...were we even invited? We have debated that issue a bit on the Kami side and are still uncertain. But you cannot say an event has nothing to do with faction when the invitations specifically state Matis and all loyal Karavan are invited. This makes it a faction event...if Kami were to come in any manner we are already uninvited guests.
It has been suggested that since the game MOTD stated the wedding was to occur, we should assume everyone in game is invited. But check the sign up in Yrk (it is still there) and we clearly are not. Since only one of the factions is invited, it is by its nature a single faction event...and the act of excluding the other makes and reinforces, in my opinion, a faction vs. faction attitude.
And just to reiterate. What we did was a Kami event, a whole town of Kami civilians were killed. We Kamis protested. The Fyros have not yet responded...but I am guessing it will not be with a peaceful protest.
