I don't quite see the problem in that, but it sure is also possible to have a separate "dual sword" skill to grind.
hooo... and separate "dual daggers"?.. and separate "dagger+sword"?.. separate "lance+shield"?.. =) remove old exp system, create new one just for "dual wield weapons / weapons with shield" exping?..
