I also concur with Dominikus, being French and having played on Aniro for quite a while (had mastered quite a few skills) but got tired of the overly aggressive faction drama (thoug hthings might have changed since then).
I can tell you that digging in PR was at times much harder than just having a homing KP designed just for you :)
I don't think people would really have that much trouble communicating (and some might just get the opportunity to hone their linguistic skills by the same occasion) but some just won't make any attempt at socializing outside of their cliques. I do like Arispotle for being more open in that respect.
