Yes, but I believe our poster is talking about a little more. Like a system where you actually have to eat and drink regularly, rather than eat and drink just giving temporary stat bonuses that aren't really needed.

yes, that is what I mean, add the feature to our characters get tired or hungry and need drink or eat regularly :) I watched that in another game called Argentum Online, will lovely to see implemented here in Ryzom! <3 :D
I don't understand why so much negative answers, hunt is fun, and hunt to get food is more fun :D, the idea is not to rapidly tired your character or him get hungry too much fast, no, no, no, think in get tired or hungry in "real time" (our real time), a good example of that is MGS 3 by Hideo Kojima, that feature dont kill the game, why should kill the game play of Ryzom?
if you imitated the examples of Argentum online and MGS 3, the game will be better compared to now, belive me! :)
