Don't worry, you're not the first :) A GM can help you by deleting the mission for you, so that you can try again. To do this you need to be online. Please contact a CSR in-game so we can help you. On the other hand, not completing this mission will not have serious consequences for your game, so it's up to you.
For the next time, the way to report these problems is by using the in-game ticket system; in your button bar, click the (?) "Help" icon, and then choose "Support". You will then get a screen with some types of support; choose the one you need and fill in the details. After you have sent the ticket a CSR will contact you as soon as possible.
