you craft higher level gear when you level up your crafting.
skill points are used to improve your skills. level up and they'll improve, need a higher level gear then you can craft, sounds like a reason to level your crafting skills up, OR buy from the market (granted the silan market is uber limited). you can also ask in uni chat for low level gear from high level players.
i really get the feeling that you've always been given everything you ever wanted and have no idea what it's like to work for what you want, without effort there is no real reward, just entitlement. and ryzom doesn't provide that, here if you want something, you MUST put in the work in some way, even if that's just typing in uni chat "i need Q40 armor and weapons".
once more, your very new to ryzom or trolling the forums in the most entitled way i've ever seen.
take a second to search the forums before you post, some of the things your asking for are already here, others have been discussed and rejected already, and several of them thus far (i have more to read and reply to) are just plain game breakingly silly.
you need much more time in game then a week or two to make well thought out and logical ideas for ryzom.
as i've said at least once now: make a list on paper of your ideas, play for a year putting in effort in the major skills: a melee skill, elem magic, healing magic, crafting, and digging.... then when you look back at that list, you'll laugh and understand why most of the posts you've made aren't getting the response you would like to see.
i've been here a long time, i've been on several really good crusades for things that the player base at large want, and still not got those, more less the silly things that are totally un ryzom like that you suggest.
ryzom is NOT a single player game, it's an MMO (granted with a small player base) and beginners should seek out help from older homins.
