Letter to Jazzy Mac'Plantey on the 17th of Winderly 2622-4
Nair Commander,
To my great regret, I must inform you that I will not be able to attend your upcoming wedding to Ylang'Hao Sen-Siang.
My relations with your (still) bride are indeed execrable since the beginning because of an inexpiable sin of mine: although following Jena, I have the audacity to count her son from a first bed among my dear friends. So I think I am one of the "people she [doesn't] want to meet" mentioned in your announcement.
Be assured, however, that you are no less dear a friend to me than Haokan Kito and that it is with a sincere heart that I send you, with my congratulations, my best wishes for marital happiness.
