Ranger new map & pathways: feedbacks
Jyrvie : For me, I like the concept. It's pretty cool. But it's a bit complicated when one want to actually use them. And there is a little thing I don't like. It's the PvP region tag you get when you cross a PvP area. When I have to cross the Nexus, I hurry in order to avoid tag, but I sometimes fail.
Kiwalie : As Jyrvie said, I like it.
Dawy : Tunnels are quite well located, apart from the one of the Elusive Forest which ends in a nest full of Tyranchas and Torbaks.
Louteisang : Something I found bad about Prime tunnels, is that, even when the two extremities are the same, one has to use the ''?'' and, so, try in random mode. I have been said that when I get all ten extremities I'll will be able to use ''?'' without risking any DP. So, what I find bad is to be compelled to do the ten in one pass... instead of little by little (cause I dig 120 prime mats, I don't need othe tunnels for now), I would prefer to enjoy the stuff. It's as if the all regions trek has to be accomplished in a sole pass.
Jyrvie : In my guild, many complain saying that it's not very useful for digging or find bosses. But, as these are things I don't practice, I hardly realize.
Kiwalie : One thing would be fine : benefit of 30 seconds of invulnerability to avoid eating by aggros ... or 10.
What do you think should be changed to improve and balance the gameplay ranger?
Zeynah : Can Rangers teleport while tagged?
Tamarea: no, it has been fixed.
Kiwalie : As for me, apart from be able to avoid death at the exit of tunnels, I find all the rest very fine. RP speaking, it fits to Rangers.
Dawy: I aggree with Kiwalie.
Meubli : A protection at tunnels exits would be welcomed, yes. And to be able to move wherever you want more quickly. For example, if you want to go to Sunken City, you need three hours. Not so cool, gameplay speaking.
Do you think we should add a security zone to the tunnel entrances and exits, in order to align with the gameplay of the other factions?
Meubli, Zeynah, Dawy & Malko answer yes.
Moniq is against safe zone.
Krill: Yes, at exit at least. Meaning : the homin(a) who get out the tunnel is protected. But, for all other cases, this is not so obvious (entring of a ranger in a tunnel or protection of a non-ranger at the point). But this is mostly for RP reasons. And because non-rangers can't know tunnels' exits if a ranger don't tell them. (as, on the contrary, TP - hence safe places - can be seen by all).
Gaperila: I like the idea of Krill, so I am against a common safe zone, but for a short time protection after exit.
Jahuu: can rangers sence other side of the tunnel? That could be like "not going when aggro" wich would justify the safe zone until moving.
Krill: My answer was really mainly for RP reasons. On a gameplay point of view, and especially in comparaison with other factions gameplay, I don't know.
Meubli : In other factions, a player can join Prime Roots in some seconds. For a ranger, you have to to count in minutes. There is, obviously, no balance.
Moniq: I don't think we can compare rangers to other factions as Meubli does.
Krill: I'd say that's still better than for a citizen non-Kami or non-Kara, or for a neutral. So, there is an advantage in being Ranger. Even if it is less important than those of Kami, Karas ans Marauds.
Meubli: We cannot speak of Rangers as a Faction, then.
Kiwalie: Ranger is a faction, with its own Rite... More difficult to achieve than others, yes. But don't forget we had nothing before and nonetheless remained neutrals.
Tamarea: The ranger faction is newly implemented and we knew we would have gameplay balancing to do. But for that, we needed your feedback. Thanks to all those received (during this meeting as outside), we have enough elements to work. So thank you!
