Update is downloading current data from API, checking for changes against cached data and saving what is new.2. Question: Could you flesh out what "updates" and "locking updates" refers to. Does this mean "look what you accomplished since you last looked" ?
Update lock can prevent running update and keep current data.
It is similar for other tools having any data cached (Fame tracker, Bag app) and also you guild activity for RyGReg can be locked this way.

3. Question: I figured I'd try and get that look at the interface and the opening screen defaulted to an API key ... where did that key come from ?
