Proceedings of a tryker’s trial

The trial is lead by a Judge, chosen by the Federation for his or her impartiality. (S)he will have to ensure that the order is observed and to allow both parts to expose their arguments.
The Taliari Assembly nominate a jury with three citizens: one follower of the Kamis, one neutral and one follower of the Karavan.
The Tlliari assembly design a prosecutor, who will have to present the various accusations and defend their validity.
The prisoner have a defender, who will strive to demonstrate the accusations are not valid.
The prosecution and the defense have to address the list of the witnesses they want to be presented during the trial before that one begins.

During the trial, silence will have to last when evidences are presented.
The prosecutor will speak first and question. The defender then could question, and, finally, the prosecutor will lead a cross-questionning if wished.
The prosecutor and the defender could raise objections, the judge only will decide if these are valid or not. An objection have to be terse, everybody may speak and the time have to be respected.
Then, the members of the jury will pronounce the sentence : guilty / not guilty.
The penalty, if relevant, will be pronounced by the judge.

Proceeding of Taliari Assembly

Small recall of the essential points by Ailan Mac’Kean.

The Assemblies occur with the respect due to rules and values of the Tryker Federation.
The assemblies are public, everyone can come even with his meal and his beer.
The Taliari decide, the Citizen speak freely. The ambassadors also. But the guests have to raise their hand and wait to be given the floor.
The weapons are put away, except for the ones of the UFA members.
And of course, one doesn't interrupt the Governor !
