I think that the events that occur during national holiday seasons often bring in new players - friends of existing players that want to group up and be the first to get the latest pointy hat or gold coloured mount. I think that Attys has it's own unique lore and should have it's own unique events but they should happen at times of the year when MMORPG players have free time (holiday seasons).
Maybe one Attys holiday armor set could be based on collecting Kitin exo-skeleton components.
Maybe different tribes could have a season when they give new recipees in return for specific kitin parts or specific clues to the missing dragons?
