Gold Capriny
The voice was nothing but a vague and distant echo. Zhan collapsed into the
grass, she felt like her body was melting and absorbed by the damp earth.
The Void suddently took new colors, unknown. Atys absorbed her, she had that
strange feeling of going down, to tree planet's heart. It was calling her.
The atmosphere seemed softer and warmer as she approached. Her sap was
boiling, she could hear several voices singing as one. She knew that song,
that prayer. Bathed in light, she saw the shape of a huge capriny.
Thousands of horns adorned his head, a delicate and immaculate mask
on his face.
Zhan wept inwardly, the capriny smiled at her with kindness and compassion.
-Capriny: Wu Zhan...
-Zhan: Father.
-Capriny: Népai nu'o fia, lu are tired of your journey*, you are home now.
Home...no...my home don't look like that...I live there...what is the name
of that place again? Pa and Mi* are not here...so isn't ma'xao*. Ma'xao...I...I
don't remember your mask. What does it looks like?
-Capriny: It's over nu'o fia.
Zhan was inwardly struggling to understand what was happening but the call
to surrender was so strong. She focused on her heartbeat and her breath.
She was alone, no one would help her.
''Path toward Enlightment is often harsh and tortuous"
Rikutatis...that's what you often told me.
Zhan gently put her delicate hand on the muzzle of the capriny.
-Zhan: Father, I am sorry, I am not ready to join you. I have to leave even
if it cost me and breaks my heart.
The capriny blew.
The wind blew on Zhan's mask who woke up, alone in the Void.
She wasn't feeling good at all, her body felt so heavy. Her left leg hurted
and heavy like wood, she laid her hand on her thigh and noticed a little hole
on her skin, haloed of an echymosis. The Kwai began to shake, her heart
panicked. Her hand was trying to find an object, she prayed that she wouldn't
find it.
She touched a vial with a needle, a tear flowned on her mask.[/p]
