Here is a variable I am wondering about, does the aggro range change if the mob is facing away from you even by a small amount like 1m? Sometimes cuttlers facing me seem to attack sooner than ones with their backs turned towards me.
Anyone check that one out? Just curious.
Not in any controlled experiment sense, but Daomei is correct in saying that some mobs do have a more directional agro range than others. Not all, but some.
